There are many ways to contribute to the vital work of Life Light Pregnancy Help Center, but our greatest need is always prayer. Take a moment to pray for this ministry, the women and families we impact, and the future lives of precious unborn babies.

Volunteer

Help us serve the women and families in our community. Because of the incredible dedication of our volunteers, we can offer material resources, one-on-one mentorships, free self-administered pregnancy tests, education, encouragement, and, of course, prayer. 

Each volunteer plays a vital role in a woman’s life while helping our ministry move forward. In addition, their work helps us reduce costs as they generously give of their time and abilities.

Opportunities to Serve:

We have various volunteer opportunities available if you wish to get involved in the work of Life Light Pregnancy Help Center. 

Here are a few you might want to consider:

• Church Ambassadors
  Our church ambassadors represent Life Light PHC in their church by promoting various fundraising efforts, such as our annual Baby Bottle Fundraiser. Their purpose is to present and inform church leadership and the congregation of our vital work in our community.
• Prayer Team
  Please join our prayer team to pray for our clients, staff, volunteers, and community. Pray for those who touch the lives of women and families to love well and for continued provision for this ministry.
• Mentors (training provided)
  These volunteers meet individually with the women who turn to us for help. Mentors assess our client’s needs and discuss ways we can help them. We provide extensive training to equip our volunteers to serve our clients effectively.
• Special Project Coordinators 
  Our special projects require many volunteers to help with outreach, development, and communications. These volunteers support fundraising, event coordination, and promotion.

Attend Our Events

Although our main event is the Annual Country Auction every October, we have other yearly fundraising activities. Why not plan on participating and inviting your friends, family members, and neighbors?

Provide Material Donations

In addition to our caring and encouraging support, we offer parenting classes. Our clients can learn about everything from prenatal care to understanding their infant. We tailor each class to a client’s specific needs.

We also provide material support. Class attendees earn “Life Light Loot” for every class they complete and exchange their points for diapers, baby clothing, formula, toys, etc. We love to provide gift cards for places like Taco Bell and Subway, lotions, candles, and things moms can receive for themselves at our boutique. Your generous donation of gift cards and new and gently used items provides hope and encouragement for struggling women and families.

Spread the Word

Together, we can create a culture of life in Redding. Share the fantastic work we are doing with everyone you meet. Let women and families who are struggling with an unplanned pregnancy know we are here to serve them and love them.
